Dealing with a Cold the natural way.

I've had a cold since last Monday, and It's finally starting to go away. I have found some pretty good ways to get over a cold faster and also build up my immune system. The first thing is to take a good amount of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is very good at helping build a stronger immune system. Of coarse you should drink plenty of water when you've come down with just about any illness, but I found a particular drink that really soothes a sore throat. It's basically a hot lemonade. All you need to make it is, hot water, about half a lemon's amount of juice, and some honey.
One of the best things to take if you want to get over a cold even faster is Olive leaf extract. It works so well! You can usually get some at Walmart.
Also Sweating out a cold helps. If you go to bed with a hot water bottle, it works pretty well.
I hope this post was informative for all my readers, and I hope that if you get a cold this season you'll know what to do.

  1. Hot water with lemon and honey is definitely an old family recipe for us, and my mother-in-law told me about olive leaf extract just recently. Top advice!

  2. these are good ways to deal with a cold! when i have a cold, i don't always immediately drink medicine, i like to drink tons of orange juice first. :)
