5 household items I use for my health.

1. Baking soda.

Purposes:
Baking soda is not only good for cleaning your counters and bath tub. It's also good for washing your hair, face, brushing your teeth, and even using as deodorant.
Benefits:
Baking soda isn't dangerous like the harmful chemicals in most counter top and bath cleaners, and its certainly not harmful to your hair or skin. It thoroughly cleans any surface just as well as other cleaners. Plus it's safe!

2. Organic extra virgin Coconut oil.

Purposes:
Coconut oil is great at moisturizing, so you can use it on dry skin, as a leave-in conditioner, on you dry lips, and its great for cooking and baking.
Benefits:
Coconut oil is high in Lauric acid, which helps fight harmful bacteria that comes from viruses.
It's also been known to have anti-aging effects when used topically.

3. Apple cider vinegar.

Purposes:
Apple cider vinegar is also a good cleaning product. I use it on my hair once a week to give it shine and volume, It works really well. you can also cook with it. We used it to make pickled beets.
Benefits: Apple cider vinegar has Potassium,Malic acid, Pectin, and Calcium, which are all very important for your body.

4. Lemons.

Purposes:
Lemons have tons of purposes. You can use them to clean as well, use the juice to highlight your hair, and make a hot lemonade drink that will sooth a sore throat.
Benefits:
Lemons are good for your digestive system, and have been known to destroy Intestinal worms.
They have powerful anti-bacterial properties, and have a large amount of vitamin C.

5. Essential oils.

There are a lot of different Essential oils out there, so I'll tell you a couple that I use.

Tea-tree oil is great for putting on those fresh pimples you just noticed while brushing your teeth. It drys out the area and makes it impossible for bacteria to grow, thus getting rid of the pimple before it has a chance to even surface.
Eucalyptus oil is something I use when I have a really bad cold, and I'm stuffed up. All you do is put  about 5-6 drops in a bowl of steaming hot water, put a towel over your head and the bowl, and breath deeply for about five minutes.

These are all great alternatives to a lot of things that aren't so healthy.
I hope that you found this post rather informative.

Thanks for reading!
Anastasia, :)
